Founder Story
From Salcombe to superyachts to H2ome.
Madeline’s route into property care started with a love of holiday homes in South Devon and developed through hands-on hospitality roles where presentation, consistency, and guest experience mattered every day.
1. Where it began
I spent much of my time in Salcombe, South Devon, where I built many fond memories and developed my passion for holiday homes.
2. Experience
I worked for a well-established holiday letting company, carrying out weekly property inspections, quality checks, and managing guest bookings
3. High standards
I went on to spend several years working on board superyachts, travelling the world as Head of Housekeeping and Senior Stewardess.
H2ome property services
I have a genuine passion for cleaning and take great pride in making spaces look their absolute best. I’m highly detail-focused and enjoy transforming properties into welcoming, beautifully presented environments.
During my time on superyachts, where standards and attention to detail are exceptionally high, I learnt countless techniques and best practices that I still use today—both in my own home and in the homes I care for.
That experience shapes the H2ome approach: thoughtful presentation, practical care, and homes that feel truly well looked after.
Then & now
Established in 2022 with nothing more than Madeline and a vision, H2ome has grown into a dedicated team of 10 staff, now managing over 15 holiday homes alongside commercial and domestic cleaning. Every member of the team shares the same passion and commitment to delivering exceptional standards.
Natural products
Based in Stroud, an eco hub, We believe simplicity is best. At H2ome Property Services, we use natural products with no harsh chemicals, helping to create a cleaner, healthier home environment.
